On 12 th May 2008 big earthquake was happened in Sichuan province and great disasters arrived to the people there. In order to help them, the staff of the whole Institute including the retired people contributed money, the total to57000yuan by 26 th May 2008 to help earthquake stricken area.

A new food additive thermal gel was identified on 28 th June 2008.Shandong Light Industry Association invited nine units of experts from Shandong University , National Sugar Engineering Center , Shandong Science Academy, etc. to identify the item the study and development of thermal gel a new food additive, which was taken on Shandong Food & Fermentation Res.& Des. Institute and Shandong Zhongke Biotechnology Co.,Ltd.

 

  D-ribose Production is developing smoothly in Qingdao Ribao biological Co.,Ltd which was set up by Shandong Food & Fermentation Res.& Des. Institute and Qingdao Langyatai Group Co.,Ltd. At present, the main workshop had been finished, the equipments had been installed the power house and water circle complete engineering are almost finished and all kinds of work have been progressed on the schedule.
